[Your Role As Our AI Automation Engineer Intern]
Reporting to the VP Engineering, you will be a key player in transforming our customer experience through intelligent automation in the following responsibilities:
- Build and fine-tune GPT-based customer support chatbots to manage frequently asked questions from our community: From our programme offerings to the finer details about billing and logistics, we want to ensure that our customers get the answers to their questions fast and accurate—and not without a touch of personalisation!
- Manage and deploy AI workflows with tools like Dify.ai or similar low-code platforms: Whether it’s building a prototype or launching full-scale automations, you’ll bring ideas to life with tools that bridge the gap between code and creativity.
- Design dynamic conversation flows that route, escalate, or resolve issues with empathy and precision: You’ll craft seamless user journeys that not only solve our customers’ problems but also make them feel heard and supported.
- Apply RAG techniques to improve chatbot accuracy using internal knowledge bases (e.g. SOPs, FAQs, product guides): With our wide array of internal knowledge bases, you’ll supercharge our bots with real-time access to the most relevant and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to align bot behaviour with existing support workflows and escalation policies: You’ll ensure that our bots work in harmony with our Customer Care team to upload customer service excellence!
- Integrate chatbot logic into backend systems and APIs to retrieve/update customer data as needed: Empowering our bots to be even smarter and more responsive is your end goal.
- Participate in Agile-style development sprints, share updates, and iterate based on user feedback and test results: You’ll ship fast, learn faster, and keep improving with each sprint, all while keeping your finger on the pulse of what our community really needs.

Technical Skills
- Strong interest or hands-on experience in AI automation, LLMs, prompt engineering, or retrieval-based workflows
- Familiarity with tools like Dify.ai, LangChain, or similar low-code AI development platforms
- Basic understanding of Python and RESTful APIs for backend integration
Soft Skills
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams: You’re proficient in both written and spoken English to communicate with our team members in remote teams!
- Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about building smart, responsive user experiences
Brownie Points
- Prior experience working with customer service or help desk platforms: Your deep understanding of the pain points of customers will translate into smarter and more empathetic chatbot experiences that truly resonate with our community.
- Exposure to vector databases or chatbot analytics
